About the Company:

CortexBCI Inc. is working to create mind-controlled robotic devices, thus allowing people to control objects using nothing but just their thoughts. The company is founded by two engineers from BITS Pilani, who have been passionate about the human brain and are on a mission to change how humans interact with machines around them.
- We see endless possibilities with technologies built by us. The technology can be used to create mind-controlled wheelchairs, prostheses, and even communication systems for people suffering from paralysis enabling them to communicate with their doctors and family members. Currently, available prostheses use EMG signals, which makes them slow and tiresome and offers limited functionality.
- It can also be integrated with Smart Home devices to allow the user to control their homes using one’s thoughts ensuring higher levels of security and control. Since we are continuously monitoring the user’s EEG data, we can also help improve their mental health, by monitoring and giving relevant feedback based on their emotions, mood, stress-level, and sleeping patterns.
